Happy hour is 5 star! $6 buckets of beer (5) of Corona or Bud Light and 1/2 off happy hour menu. Order the flatbread or Spinach dip.

Well...San Antonio's Bar Louie beats West Palm Beach Bar Louie hands down. We ordered hummus as an appetizer to with our Martinis and server came out and apologized that the cook had stepped away and there was a delay, "cancel that please". Sorry but this was not our best review of paces to visit on Clematis Street.

I had the burger sliders and it was the driest burger I have ever had in my life. The martinis were amazing. I would only come again for drinks.

Our group ordered 2 burgers and salmon sliders. All the food was dull, and the salmon sliders made me sick later on- my body physically rejected that fish (vomit). Not to mention that for the blandness, the food was really overpriced. Don't think we'll be going back anytime soon.

Even with the great location and the name recognition, a dump is a dump. One server on a Sunday at 1pm? Taking forever to get alcohol out to paying drunks like me and my woman? Bringing out our entrees at different times? Sound the fire alarm and start over. Your management team is inferior.

This is a chain and you pretty much get what chains give you. You can usually count on everything being the same; same flat bread, same appetizers, same drink specials. I do like their flat breads though and their steamed dumplings were very good. It's a good place to pop in have a drink, have an app and go on to the next place which is what I like to do downtown.

We were meeting a group for a quick bite then some glow in the dark putt-putt downtown. We've never been to Louie's and had no experience with their menu. I opted for the shrimp lettuce wraps, because I don't like very heavy food at the end of the day. I envisioned the type of lettuce wraps you find at Cheesecake Factory...guess I should have understood that this was first a bar, and secondly a food venue. Not much of what came to the table was very impressive that night. My wraps were a bit on the pathetic side, and nothing I'd order again. Actually probably wouldn't return. Too many other spots on Clematis to choose from. The drink was tasty--coconut lemonade--best part of the meal.

Does the world really need another Bar Louie? Let me rephrase that. Does the world really need another mediocre, sports-themed, overpriced-for-what-it-is, bland-food bar/restaurant? No. And the only reason this outpost of BL gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because their beer list was DECENT. Our waitress was in and out of our lives too much - when you needed her, she was no where to be found, when you didn't, there she hovered. Food was terrible. I regret eating anything from this location because it was bland, overcooked and not worth the money. I had the Louie-style burger with a turkey patty and I couldn't find the spicy giardiniera to save my soul. And that's the reason I got the damn burger - for the spice of life, yo. No spice, lack of life. My wife had been craving pasta so she got the Tuscan chicken do-wop, and the chicken looked like it came out of a refrigerated, pre-prepped and pre-grilled bag of sick. I mean, my expectations weren't high for this Florida-outpost of blah, but I'd suggest you dine elsewhere on the lovely little strip and avoid this so-so chain.

Worst service ever. Food sat in the window for over 10 minutes. Warm lettuce to use for the wraps and cold hamburgers. Bartender never checked on us and when we walked to the bar to order more, he simply left them on the bar for us to get up from our table and retrieve. Their staff has zero teamwork and you will wait on yourself here.

The location is premier, the decor is very nice. The service was good table side, but the food prep took a very long time. We meet as a group of 18. Only 6 ordered food but we were the first to arrive. We had the shrimp lettuce wraps ( ingredients make your own). Mine was chicken hers was shrimp. Both very tasty, took forever. 30 minutes at least. We had the coconut mint lemonade for a drink. EXCELLENT. As we were leaving I noticed there were 10 people outside and 2 inside. That's about 10-15% occupancy. So when it is really busy I would expect longer delays. Average at best.

Service sucks! 25 min for a glass of wine, ran out of wine glasses really? No communication. I had to find her..."Doing the best I can " Never got a water. Or a chance to place a order, ugh

Terrible service, server kept walking past our table and apologizing for not taking our order. Just. Take. Our. Order. Or get your other work done so you CAN take our order! We ordered drinks because by the time she actually was ready to take our order, we had decided this wasn't the place to entrust our stomachs. Worst Mojito I have ever had! This place needs a makeover and a visit from Restaurant Impossible! Never again!

I really like this place most of the time. The bar manager really knows how to take care of its customers even if there is something wrong. I usually come for dollar burger nights and happy hour. They also have the Sunday ticket so I come here for football. The service is usually good unless they are understaffed. Overall I don't have a reason not to come back. My two favorite things are the loaded tots and the whiskey cake!!!

Terrible service! Food was not bad but I saw something that would destroy ANYONES visit...ROACH! I'm sorry but if I ever see even one of these little bugs then I'm writing a review to warn others of one of my biggest fears! Please avoid until they improve their health standards.

I have been frequenting Bar Louie for about a month. I have to say it is consistent. It is a corporate resatraunt, but I would say the food quality is on the higher end of that spectrum. I went last night to watch the heat game. There was a good crowd, but the service was still on point. I ordered the Chicken verde flatbread which was good, and the boneless buffalo wings which were great! The guy behind the bar was awesoem! I wish I remembered his name. He was very attentive and went out of his way to make sure that the game was playing at the tv closest to our spot. I would definitely recommend stopping by!

We have had a great partnership with bar Louie for the last three events. They allowed us to utilize the upstairs space to host our artists happy hour. Which is an artist marketplace with a upstairs bar, Appetizers that we the artist provide and an opportunity for artists to sell to people who are getting out of work I wish to unwind. It has been very successful for the most part give or take. The food provided has always been top notch. And the drinks are great.

Bartender knows how to make a great sangria! A very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. So glad we stopped in, sorry we had to leave still soon.

I really love the loaded fries and the chop, chop salad. And I like the atmosphere. The service is hit or miss. It was not the same quality both times I had takeout. The dollar burgers are not good.

The bartenders here really know their stuff. When I visited the Boynton Beach location, the girl completely messed up my drink and then told me that was how it was supposed to taste. I went to the one in West Palm and they were able to make me a perfect Moscow Mule with ginger beer instead of ginger ale The nachos are amazing too. Great place to stop by for a drink and a snack.

Best prices and happy hour on clematis. Can't beat dollar burgers and dollar drafts. It's a nice change from all the expensive spots everywhere else.

Stepping in here on a Saturday and having a couple cocktails with some old friends was the highlight of the night. It has two stories and all of us sat up on the second floor to bullshit and eat while drinking. I had the usual. Soft pretzel sticks with cheese, honey mustard, and cinnamon butter dipping sauces. The band could have toned it down a bit since it was a bit loud and the a/c was acting funky. It wasn't working, then miraculously, it did. Luckily, it wasn't in the summer or we really would have been sweating bullets. Our waitress was great though. She had an awesome sense of humor despite the fact of the surroundings. I still prefer the one in Boynton since it has more room and it's more cleaner. Just used to my hometown one :)

Just had an awful experience here. I have always loved the pretzels and they are great, but the queso dipping sauce was congealed and gross. I order a blackberry, orange, and brie salad, which I've had before and loved. This time I order it with steak. When the server brought it to me, they had run our of fruit and arbitrarily put other random fruit on it without checking with me; there was also no cheese, and the "steak" was like gray shredded beef. Absolutely gross looking and tasting. It took at least 5 minutes for the server to check on us, and the kicker was that when I was trying to tell the server the problem, she LITERALLY walked away and brought us our check, never even asking if I wanted something else. So here I am, with my husband who had an entire meal, and me who hadn't even touched it. I am dumbfounded at this lawful service and was too livid to even complain to a manager.

I always enjoy Bar Louie. It is a great place to relax. There service can be a bit slow every now and then. The staff makes up for it by great customer service. I normally go on Tuesdays fir dollar burgers. You can't beat that.. I also enjoy their half priced apps from 4-7. The quesadillas are a full size serving for one person. I also like the nachos and calamari. My favorite drink is the tickled pink martini. For beer drinkers the have plenty on tap. There are also quite a few specialty beers as well. If your looking for a chill environment Bar Louie is it

This past weekend I stopped by World of Beer and by bartender recommendation I ordered Bar Louie to be delivered. The food was great but I had to call numerous times to make sure my order was even coming and to my surprise I actually had to go get it....if I waited any longer the food would of probably been cold. I normally don't complain but it was a little strange because your menu was in their food delivery book. I hope to order again and that not be an issue because I did enjoy it.

I am not one to write a review or to leave comments, but I was really impressed with the atmosphere at the new Bar Louie on Clematis. It is a great place to unwind after work and meet coworkers for drinks. The service was more than awesome, the waitresses were gorgeous, and the food was expertly prepared. Also, since it is spacious, it makes a great business meeting place. I can only sum this up by saying that this place rocks.

This is the better of the two Palm Beach County locations. I've been to this one several times, not quite as much as the Lake Worth location. Since the new menu and updated drink lists, Bar Louie has been doing a much better job than they were doing in 2012. This location has lots going for it, much more so than the Lake Worth one. This tends to draw less families and more groups/couples. It's located right at the end of Clematis and gets you in the middle of everything. Parking isn't bad, but best to park in the lot at the end of Banyan for $1 for 2 hours to avoid the psycho West Palm Parking Police (they gotten even more aggressive in recent weeks). Downstairs they're quick to serve you and even if you go upstairs, they're pretty good about getting you your orders. It is a little slower if the guest count upstairs is not too large, but it is two different experiences. Downstairs gets a lot more action and upstairs tends to be just a bit more dialed down. It does pick up for the upstairs as the evening goes on though. I mainly come here for happy hours and dollar burger nights, but we have come through here during nights where there were things happening at the amphitheater or closer to the water. It's a fun experience and they've been consistently good. It seems management here runs a slightly tighter ship than Lake Worth.

Visited here on $1 burger night. HORRIBLE service. Our server forgot one person food and told her it was sitting downstairs, she forgot two orders of french fries, and we waited forever for drinks, we waited so long that we started ordering two at a time so that we didn't have to wait. Her response to this was that it was burger night and they were busy, all that I could think was duh you're busy and I'm sure they staffed accordingly. After asking twice to speak to the manager, to no avail, I then proceeded to find him myself. Upon speaking with him he had no idea that I had asked to speak to him, he had no idea our food was forgotten about, and he had no idea that we were unhappy with our service. Overall, even with $1 burgers, I would not go back. The only thing good about the night was the fact that the manager ended up comping all 6 of our meals and drinks.

I have always been a fan of Bar Louie and visited their location in City Place several times when they had a location there. I have recently visited the new location on Clematis. Every time I go there, it is so loud I almost walk right back out. Also, the lighting inside is way to bright and it's annoying. Not a relaxing atmosphere at all. As for the food, it is OK. I have tried several menu items including the burger and nothing has been excellent or very tasty rather, just OK. The service needs some help here. The staff just doesn't seem to care that you are there. They would rather be doing something else it seems.

Beautiful space and fantastic location. Boring chain menu and mediocre food, created with little effort, were a huge let down. Will not be back.

Food was actually really good. The service was kinda amusing actually... but i was hanging out with good friends so we didnt really care. We were all impressed with the food quality. Recommend the Chicken flat bread, bruschetta and chocolate cake dessert. Also tried shrimp skewers- they were ok and grilled veggie flat bread which was good for a veggie flat bread. I would rcommend trying for appetizers and drinks. cool atmosphere and location.

Wow, I don't know how the other people on here are knocking this place! I have been a regular there since they opened! I love the staff, I love the managment there and I have been treated exceptionally by all of them. In my opinion, I get better treatment there than anywhere else on Clematis. They know me by name, they know what I drink, and they are always prompt. People that complain about service or wait times obviously have never worked in the business. They also don't understand the atmosphere of a Bar Louie. It's a fun, happy hour type place and it's not a quiet fancy sit down restaurant like you would find on the island. If the wait times are long, go to the bar, grab a great cocktail, BS with the great staff behind the bar and chill out!!!! I give this place Five Stars, if I could go 10 Stars I would!

I've gone to Tuesday's dollar burger night a few time with a few friends. About half of us order the burger, and the rest will get something off of the menu. I can't comment on the other menu items, but I can say that a restaurant promoting their "burger night" should have a decent burger. Bar Louie does not. The three times I visited this joint, the service has left much to be desired. Last time I went, I had a group of 8 that needed the long table next to the bar. The folks who were at that table before us just left, so I was standing nearby "calling dibs" on it since it's a "seat yourself" kind of place.... I guess, since there wasn't a hostess to be found. I'm standing at the entrance (near the table) waiting for it to be cleaned, which was for around 5 minutes. In that time, not one employee spoke to me. They just walked past me and didn't make eye contact. I actually had three (THREE!) patrons from the bar get up and tell me that I can just sit down anywhere I want. The customers at this place have been customer service skills than the employees! Finally, I grabbed a server and she said she would have the table cleaned for me, but it took me telling another server that I needed it cleaned for it to actually happen after another five minutes. I wish I could say that was the worst of it, but it isn't. Our server acted as if she would have rather been anywhere than in that restaurant, and I even caught an "eye roll" when one of my friends had to grab a menu to remember what she was ordering. My group of friends seems to be Bar Louie's target market. Young professionals in our early thirties who order cocktails, beer and tip well... but you wouldn't know it by the way we were all treated. Food was cold when it came out. Bland and forgettable. We left and had another drink at World of Beers. Do yourself a favor and go to Longboards for great service, good food... and a nice experience.

Great place for drinks & apps with friends. It's located right at corner of clematis and offers indoor and outdoor seating. The food is good the drinks are awesome. I've always raved about their service and tonight was no different. We had Princess as our waitress and she was great, very attentive. No matter how packed Bar Louie is we always get great service. This trip I ordered Flatbread & wings, plus the White Nectar & Ricky & Lucy, during happy hour =perfection!!!
